The Energy Development Analyst supports the evaluation, acquisition, and advancement of utility-scale power generation, energy storage, and grid-connected infrastructure projects across the U.S. This analyst-level role is suited for a development professional with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in energy policy, energy transition, plant design, interconnection, transmission, RTO/ISO markets, and project development. The position supports market analysis, policy and market monitoring, site screening, interconnection review, permitting, engineering coordination, commercial diligence, financial modeling, and construction readiness. The position is based in Ferrovial’s U.S. office in Austin, Texas and reports to the Director of Business Development. The role works closely with development, engineering, construction, interconnection, transmission, finance, commercial, legal, M&A, environmental, permitting, and asset management teams. The Analyst will evaluate market opportunities, maintain project and interconnection tools, support technical and commercial analysis, coordinate workstreams, and prepare materials for project reviews, investment decisions, stakeholder discussions, and executive reporting. Travel as needed for project sites, stakeholder meetings, industry events, consultant coordination, and partner discussions.
