About The Position

Country Visions Cooperative has an immediate opening for an Energy Delivery Driver. This role is ideal for individuals who are customer-oriented, well-organized, and not afraid to get their hands dirty. The position offers the independence of working outdoors and indoors with minimum supervision and a changing view daily. The Energy Department at Country Visions Cooperative is a growing part of a multifaceted organization with divisions in Agronomy, Grain, Feed, Energy, Convenience Stores, and Country Stores, with roots tracing back to 1923.

Requirements

• Valid CDL and Hazmat endorsement.
• Tanker Endorsement.

Nice To Haves

• Accuracy, confidence, dependability, and good communication are all beneficial skills for this position.
• Maintenance experience is also preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class B fuel or propane hazmat delivery truck.
• Operate in truck Energy routing and billing software.
• Physically able to pull up to 150-feet of delivery hose in all terrain and weather conditions.
• Follow safe practices with every aspect of loading and delivering propane/fuel.
• Effectively communicate safety and repair information to customers.
• Be available for afterhours and weekend on call rotation.
• Learn how to perform Safety and Compliance tests, check system for proper operation and Relight pilot lights at customer locations.
• Maintain the propane/fuel equipment at all time to ensure cleanliness and good mechanical condition.
• Work closely with the office to submit timely and accurate paper work.
• Obtain or Maintain CDL, Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• Render prompt and courteous deliveries.
