Energy and Emissions Operations Technician - 2nd Shift

Requirements
- Associates Degree OR 2+ years of relevant experience required
- Automotive experience with 1-2 of the following skillsets: Mechanical, Instrumentation, Product Electronics, Testing/driving, Fabrication, Machining, Hybrid/battery, controls
- Possess good interpersonal, computer, oral, and written skills
- Experience executing technical documents
- Ability to pass a PIV physical and operate powered mobile equipment
- Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis and successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Report review.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience with automotive testing methods
- 2+ years in Dynamometer Testing / Lab Operations Setup
- Emission testing equipment or chassis dynamometer experience
- Experience with AVL, Horiba or Burke Porter
- Experience communicating effectively with your direct leader, and fellow team members
Responsibilities
- Work both independently & closely with multi-disciplined teams to understand functional requirements and implement appropriate solution
- Complete appropriate testing procedures
- Set-up and perform ICE/EV testing on vehicles.
- Evaluate results
- Recommend corrective action
- Work a 4 day/10-hour schedule (Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday) on 2nd shift
- Work both independently & closely with multi-disciplined teams to understand functional requirements and implement appropriate solutions
- Collaborate with other workers across several functions and levels
