This role will forecast natural gas demand, support short-term supply & storage procurement strategies, and suggest changes to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) control narratives. The analyst will also prepare work papers, maintain documents, and reports for regulatory filings, rate cases and other reporting obligations, evaluate capacity holdings, and perform invoice reconciliations. Additionally, the role involves investigating data variances and proposing solutions, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and assisting the team with 3rd party supply & transportation programs. The analyst will also cultivate off-system sales transactions/programs, manage the applicable LDC system according to tariff provisions, and suggest changes to tariff rules to make the organization more streamlined, scalable, or economically competitive. Champion process improvements and efficiencies are also key aspects of this role. Additional duties, as assigned.
