About The Position

The Endpoint User Security Solutionist designs, builds, and validates secure system infrastructures and endpoint security solutions for enterprise environments. This role impacts delivery quality by translating business and security requirements into scalable technical solutions, testing performance and capacity, and advising IT teams on security improvements. At this level, the incumbent applies developed subject matter expertise to solve common and complex technical problems, may act as a project lead, and mentor lower-level professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Typically, 4+ years of relevant experience with cybersecurity and endpoint management in enterprise user environments.
  • Proven experience designing and deploying secure system architectures for endpoints (Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile).
  • Hands-on experience with endpoint management and relevant security tools/products.
  • Strong scripting or programming skills for automation and solution development.
  • Experience performing security testing, performance validation, and capacity planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of delivery teams; may lead small projects.
  • Familiarity with industry security standards, best practices, and risk management processes.
  • Advanced cyber and IT security knowledge, including threats, risks, and prevention measures.
  • Advanced secure system architecture and infrastructure design and development skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of networking and network security principles.
  • Advanced skills with high-availability systems and multiple OS platforms (Linux, Windows, macOS, mobile).
  • Advanced proficiency in scripting/programming for automation and integration.
  • Advanced understanding of security standards, best practices, and risk assessment/management.
  • Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to consult with stakeholders and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement secure endpoint infrastructure and architecture based on business and client security requirements.
  • Modify and deliver company and legacy cybersecurity system architectures to meet evolving needs and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with system architects and IT teams to translate architecture outputs into deployable, secure solutions.
  • Develop and enhance cybersecurity capabilities for technology solution architecture and infrastructure.
  • Test and validate security solutions to ensure performance, quality, and capacity requirements are met.
  • Advise delivery teams on methods to improve security posture and remediate identified gaps.
  • Contributes to gathering and formalizing cybersecurity requirements by applying knowledge of client business and industry.
