Endpoint & System Security Specialist
About The Position
The Endpoint & System Security Specialist will support a security migration and deployment initiative for a major international utilities company. The role includes completing server inventory and migration planning with DB&T, preparing and executing CrowdStrike EDR deployment across legacy and target servers, and coordinating agent testing before migration. It also involves reviewing workstation golden images, checking security tools and core applications, auditing high-risk MDM users for enhanced monitoring, and confirming device posture compliance before migration. The specialist will scope and conduct penetration testing on Jump Domain infrastructure, deploy CrowdStrike Identity Threat Protection for identity threat monitoring and vulnerability scanning, remediate findings, and verify remediation through rescans. Before cutover, the specialist will confirm application security assessments are complete and endpoint and server protection is fully deployed. The position is hybrid in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, with flexible work-from-home options. Compensation is $100.00–$130.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Finalize server inventory and migration timelines with DB&T.
- Develop the server deployment plan.
- Coordinate pre-migration agent testing.
- Deploy CrowdStrike EDR agents across legacy and target servers.
- Review workstation golden images for security.
- Validate inclusion of security tools and core applications in workstation images.
- Audit high-risk Mobile Device Management (MDM) users for enhanced monitoring.
- Verify end-to-end device posture compliance before migration.
- Scope and execute penetration testing on Jump Domain infrastructure.
- Deploy CrowdStrike Identity Threat Protection (ITP) for identity threat monitoring and vulnerability scanning.
- Remediate critical and non-critical findings and conduct verification rescans.
- Confirm application security assessments are complete and endpoint/server protection is deployed before cutover.
