About The Position

RiVidium Inc. is seeking a skilled Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) Systems Engineer – Level 2 to support a mission-critical Department of Defense cybersecurity program. The Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) Systems Engineer – Level 2 will support the deployment, configuration, administration, and maintenance of enterprise endpoint security solutions across complex DoD environments. This role requires strong hands-on experience with Trellix endpoint security technologies, enterprise system administration, cybersecurity compliance, and vulnerability management. The selected candidate will serve as a technical subject matter expert supporting endpoint protection initiatives, security operations, compliance activities, and incident response efforts while ensuring systems remain secure and compliant with DoD cybersecurity requirements.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance or eligibility to obtain TS/SCI at contract start.
  • Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience securing and supporting enterprise IT systems with a focus on endpoint security.
  • Demonstrated expertise with the Trellix Enterprise Security Suite, including: ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), Endpoint Security (ENS), Policy Auditor (PA), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Trellix Application and Change Control (TACC).
  • Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise hardware, software, and user accounts.
  • Experience integrating ePO, ENS, and DLP services within enterprise environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills supporting complex security environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience supporting STIG implementation and RMF compliance activities.
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must meet DoDM 8140.03 foundational requirements for Work Role Code (WRC) 451 – System Administrator.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, administer, and maintain enterprise endpoint security solutions.
  • Manage and support the Trellix Enterprise Security Suite, including: ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), Endpoint Security (ENS) Firewall, ENS Threat Prevention, Policy Auditor (PA), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Trellix Application and Change Control (TACC).
  • Integrate Trellix security solutions into enterprise security environments.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts.
  • Assist with DISA STIG implementation and compliance activities.
  • Support Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and continuous monitoring efforts.
  • Analyze security events, logs, and system data to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Support cybersecurity incident response and reporting activities.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize endpoint security technologies in complex enterprise environments.
  • Maintain secure Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Develop technical documentation, reports, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams, system administrators, and Government stakeholders.
