About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking an Endovascular Fellow for a 1-year fellowship at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center, and North Central Bronx Hospital has 213 licensed beds. Both hospitals are respected leaders in various medical fields and maintain a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine. The mission of NYC Health + Hospitals is to provide comprehensive health services of the highest quality to all New Yorkers with compassion, dignity, and respect, regardless of their ability to pay. The Division of Cardiology has a long-standing Fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Medicine and is a major teaching affiliate for Montefiore’s Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program. Jacobi Medical Center is a New York State certified STEMI receiving center with an active PCI program and mechanical support program including ECMO. Jacobi offers outstanding cardiovascular clinical facilities for a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The fellowship focuses on arterial and venous disease management using endovascular techniques, including percutaneous interventions for acute pulmonary embolism, wound management, endovenous ablation, interventional dialysis access management, and formal training in vascular ultrasound interpretation. Training is provided by Jacobi’s IAC Vascular Testing certified noninvasive lab. The fellowship offers a unique experience through close collaboration between Interventional Cardiology and Vascular Surgery, providing a comprehensive didactic curriculum and hands-on training with both Endovascular Cardiologists and Surgeons.

Requirements

Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York.
M.D./D.O. or equivalent doctoral degree.

Nice To Haves

Prior completion of Interventional Cardiology fellowship.
Prior cath lab experience with percutaneous procedures.

Responsibilities

Manage arterial and venous disease using endovascular techniques.
Perform percutaneous interventions for acute pulmonary embolism.
Engage in wound management.
Conduct endovenous ablation procedures.
Perform interventional dialysis access management.
Interpret vascular ultrasound findings.
Participate in a comprehensive didactic curriculum.
Receive hands-on training with Endovascular Cardiologists and Surgeons.

Annual Base Salary: $102,747 based on 40-hour work week.
