About The Position

Assists with coordinating care for patients in the endoscopy department. Prepares, maintains, and cleans equipment and supplies, and may assist with invasive endoscopic procedures. Provides service-related activities supporting direct and assistive patient care in the endoscopy service of the operating room before and during endoscopic procedures. The role requires rotating shifts and accepting on-call assignments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of sterilization concepts and methods, aseptic techniques, and endoscopy instruments.
• Ability to establish and maintain sterile fields.
• Ability to pull cases and assist with endoscopy procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working in an Operating Room or Endoscopy Unit.
• GI Tech experience.
• GI certification from SGNA Associates.
