About The Position

Assists the physician with the full range of therapeutic and diagnostic endoscopic procedures, including specialized procedures. Participates in the on-call rotation, and in the provision of endoscopic services to outreach locations. This position MUST be able to work the following: 64 hours per pay period Rotating 8 Hour Shifts with varied start times. On Call Shifts including evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Completion of healthcare program (such as LPN, CA, NA, EMT, etc.) or equivalent technical healthcare training, education or experience
• 8-12 months of related experience in healthcare or patient care experience
• Medical terminology

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrating proficiency assisting with routine diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures including, screening flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy and EGD, and experience assisting in specialized procedures
• Experience using electronic medical record
