About The Position

The endoscopy technician is an important member of the gastroenterology team. Tasked with maintaining endoscopic equipment the endoscopy technician helps to ensure patient safety and care throughout the procedure. The technician also assists the doctor during procedures.

Requirements

  • Some medical experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required, can be obtained after hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Nursing Assistant certification
  • Certified Medical Assistant
  • National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
