Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
Willingness to learn new procedures, equipment, and technologies.

Nice To Haves

Graduate of a School of Operating Room Technicians preferred.
One year of Endoscopy Technician experience preferred.
No prior endoscopy experience? We provide on-the-job training for motivated candidates eager to learn.

Responsibilities

Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies and upper GI procedures.
Support patient preparation and help ensure a safe, comfortable experience.
Prepare, set up, and turn over procedure rooms efficiently between cases.
Assist with specimen collection, handling, and labeling.
Clean, disinfect, and reprocess endoscopes according to established infection prevention standards.
Perform sterile processing duties, including instrument cleaning, sterilization, and inventory management.
Maintain stocked procedure and sterile processing areas.
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and fellow team members to provide outstanding patient care.
Follow all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines.
