Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
  • Willingness to learn new procedures, equipment, and technologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Graduate of a School of Operating Room Technicians preferred.
  • One year of Endoscopy Technician experience preferred.
  • No prior endoscopy experience? We provide on-the-job training for motivated candidates eager to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies and upper GI procedures.
  • Support patient preparation and help ensure a safe, comfortable experience.
  • Prepare, set up, and turn over procedure rooms efficiently between cases.
  • Assist with specimen collection, handling, and labeling.
  • Clean, disinfect, and reprocess endoscopes according to established infection prevention standards.
  • Perform sterile processing duties, including instrument cleaning, sterilization, and inventory management.
  • Maintain stocked procedure and sterile processing areas.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and fellow team members to provide outstanding patient care.
  • Follow all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines.
