About The Position
Join Southcoast Health, a not-for-profit, charitable, health system with multiple hospitals, clinics and facilities throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We are searching for a talented Endoscopy Technician to provide technical services or support and assist physicians with a variety of endoscopic procedures, demonstrating clinical skills in an acute patient care environment.
Requirements
- Equal to completion of four years of high school plus additional specialized training.
- Basic Medical Terminology is required.
- Must be able to understand and be knowledgeable of the principles of sterile technique, sterilization process, etc.
- Knowledge of fiber optics required.
- Three years and up to five years experience required.
- Current CPR Certification is required.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Operating Room experience is preferred.
