About The Position
Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA, is hiring a full-time Endoscopy Tech! This is a full-time position with day shifts, working 36 hours per week. The Endoscopy Tech assists with patient care in the Endoscopy Department, demonstrating familiarity with gastrointestinal and pulmonary diseases and assisting during endoscopic procedures. The role is responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment and supplies, functioning under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years related experience
- Patient Care Experience
Responsibilities
- Assists with patient care in the Endoscopy Department.
- Assists during endoscopic procedures.
- Responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment and supplies.
- Functions under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.
