About The Position
Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring an Endoscopy Technician for its new Endoscopy Unit in Charlottesville, VA. This is a Full Time, Day shift position. The role will support the new outpatient Endoscopy unit opening January 2026, with training provided in the main hospital endoscopy unit. The Digestive Care Center treats a variety of diseases affecting the digestive system and the new department will feature 4 procedure rooms. No call is required, but it is available for additional hours in the main Endoscopy unit.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent required
- Patient Care Experience Required
- BLS required within 90 days of hire
Nice To Haves
- Training from vocational or military preferred
- Endoscopy experience preferred
- Sterile Processing experience preferred
- 2 years of Procedural Experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Support the new outpatient Endoscopy unit.
- Training will be provided in the main hospital endoscopy unit.
