Endoscopy Technician - Per Diem Nights
About The Position
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assists in providing nursing care to a designated patient population in collaboration with other members of the health care team. The Endoscopy Center is a specialized unit where you will apply principles in adhering to sterile technique, assist physicians with equipment during procedures, handle specimens according to policies and procedures, participate in the evaluation of new supplies, equipment and instruments, and choose the correct method and time frame for high level disinfection and sterilization of equipment. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Prior Endo experience required
- BLS
Nice To Haves
- Endo tech certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Applies principles in adhering to sterile technique
