About The Position

The position is for a per diem Endoscopy Technician, working as needed Monday through Friday. It is not a full-time role and does not include benefits or paid time off, though there is potential for a full-time position based on performance. The role involves assisting physicians with procedures, handling specimens, maintaining procedure rooms, and managing supplies. The center operates Monday-Friday, is closed on major holidays, and does not require weekend or on-call work. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or GED, and hold a BLS certification. Punctuality, dependability, a hands-on approach, quick learning, initiative, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential. Cell phones are prohibited in procedure rooms.

Requirements

  • Able to work cooperatively with staff and physicians
  • Perform a variety of tasks
  • Must be 18 years old
  • Possess a HS school diploma/GED
  • Possess a BLS certification (American Heart Association (AHA) approved course)
  • Punctual and dependable
  • Hands on quick learner willing to take initiative to learn
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Willing to clean procedure rooms
  • Willing to assist with stock or do other duties as assigned
  • Must be a teamplayer
