About The Position

The Endoscopy Technician is responsible for turning around procedure rooms, troubleshooting and cleaning endoscopes, cleaning and disinfecting accessory equipment, stocking supplies, preparing scopes for transport, assisting nursing staff and physicians, and operating and maintaining endoscopy equipment. This role also involves understanding and following infection prevention processes and performing necessary documentation. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and offers a full-time schedule with a salary range of $20.28 - $23.32 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Turn around procedure rooms: set up and take down
• Trouble shoot endoscopes in the procedure room as needed
• Clean and high level disinfect endoscopes
• Clean, high level disinfect or sterilize accessory equipment
• Stock supplies for the Endoscopy Center and order as needed
• Prepare scope for transport
• Help clean and make beds in recovery as needed
• Assist nursing staff and physicians as needed
• Operation and maintenance of endoscopy equipment as directed
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
• Understand and follow infection prevention processes
• Documentation as necessary in appropriate log sheets
