About The Position

The Endoscopy Technician I will prepare and maintain medical endoscopic instruments, equipment, and sterile set-up according to manufacturer recommendations and facility standards. The position provides overall safety checks to verify proper equipment functioning, room preparations, positions or transports patients, assistant physicians and nurses, and conducts in-service training sessions to disseminate information regarding equipment or instruments.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Nursing Assistant certification is preferred.
  • Certified Medical Assistant is preferred.
  • National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is preferred.
