About The Position
The Endoscopy Tech provides care for a patient or group of patients for a designated time frame. The role assumes responsibility and accountability for patient care through therapeutic use of self, the patient-care/problem-solving or nursing process, the environment and instrumentation, and collaboration with other health care team members. The position is in the Endoscopy South department at CoxHealth South in Springfield, Missouri, and is scheduled for 40 hours per week, 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the day shift.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in an organized manner.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of nurse assistant or related experience.
Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility and accountability for a patient or group of patients during a designated time frame.
- Provide patient care using therapeutic interaction, the patient-care/problem-solving or nursing process, the environment and instrumentation, and other health care team members.
