About The Position

We are seeking an Endoscopy Technician to assist physicians or other providers with procedures performed in the gastroenterology endoscopy setting. This role involves preparing and positioning patients for procedures, assisting providers during endoscopy, including biopsy specimen collection and polypectomy. The technician will also be responsible for restocking procedure room supplies, monitoring supply PAR levels, troubleshooting specialty equipment, and adhering to strict infection control practices and the use of personal protective equipment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • BLS/CPR certification Required

Nice To Haves

  • Formal training or experience in medical specialty (i.e. LPN, MA, Advanced Nursing Assistant) Preferred
  • 1 year of experience in a clinical setting (or) Preferred
  • 1 year of experience assisting in GI or pulmonary medical procedures Preferred
  • Basic cardiac monitoring experience Preferred
