About The Position
Arizona Advanced Endoscopy is hiring a GI/Endo Tech! Welcome to Arizona Advanced Endoscopy, where exceptional care and innovation come together to set the standard for outpatient surgical excellence!
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience or interest in healthcare industry.
- Knowledge of GI procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assists Registered Nurse in preparing patients for procedures, and caring for them post-op.
- Checks pre/ post op area for cleanliness and orderliness.
- Brings the patient to pre-op area and assists with changing if needed.
- Takes vital signs.
- Makes sure all pre-op testing, H&P, and necessary paperwork are on chart prior to surgical procedure.
- Transports patients to and from procedure rooms.
- Maintains supplies and equipment.
- Restocks carts.
- Directs family members.
- Includes family / patient in post-op instructions.
- Coordinates patient transportation.
- Performs other duties as requested or assigned.
- Participates in QAPI, Infection Control and Safety Program.
