About The Position

Hackensack Endoscopy Center has an immediate need for a full-time Endoscopy RN. At Hackensack Endoscopy Center, we believe health and care are inseparable. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing school.
• 1+ years of experience as an Endoscopy Nurse required.
• Current RN license in the state of New Jersey.
• BLS required.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the pre-, intra- and post procedure patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care.
• Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive nursing care during the patient visit.
• Coordinate total patient care in coordination with other health care team members.
• Function as a patient advocate utilizing the Patient's Bill of Rights.
• Demonstrate professional growth and development by accepting responsibility and accountability for one's nursing practice.
