About The Position

Join our team and play a vital role in patient safety and exceptional care. We are seeking a detail-oriented Endoscopy Scope Processing Technician to ensure endoscopic equipment is properly cleaned, disinfected, sterilized, maintained, and ready for clinical use.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must obtain SGNA within 2 years
• HSPA/Certified Endoscope Reprocessor certification within 2 years

Responsibilities

• Clean, inspect, assemble, test, high-level disinfect, and sterilize endoscopic instruments and equipment according to established protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
• Process and maintain a variety of endoscopes and specialty equipment, including GI, pulmonary, ERCP/EUS, ION, and related instruments.
• Perform leak testing and verify proper function of scopes and patient care equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of equipment, maintenance records, and patient-related data within electronic systems.
• Monitor scope processing, drying, and storage areas to ensure compliance with infection prevention and regulatory standards.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked to support efficient daily operations.
• Immediately report equipment concerns, safety issues, or processing discrepancies to leadership.
• Participate in department meetings, annual competencies, and ongoing education.
• Assist with onboarding and training new team members as needed.
