About The Position

This is a Full-Time position essential for providing care to the GI, Pulmonary, ECT, and IR patients in the Endoscopy unit. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care through outcome identification and evidence-based practice. As an integral member of the health care team, the nurse coordinates patient care and communicates and collaborates extensively with other members of the healthcare team, patients, and/or patient's family or significant other(s), while maintaining and demonstrating high standards of professional ethics.

Requirements

Endoscopy Unit or Procedural Area Experience Required
BLS and ACLS Required
On-Call requirement for off-hours, weekend, and holidays with 30-minute response time Required
Valid NJ RN License. Approved licenses must be presented and maintained in accordance with the State of New Jersey licensing board.
Demonstrates knowledge of nursing skills, hospital practices, procedures and standards.
Must have strong communication skills.
Must be able to coordinate efforts of a team of care providers.

Responsibilities
