Endoscopy Registered Nurse, GI – Per Diem - Hialeah, Florida
About The Position
Gastro Health is seeking a per diem RN to join our outpatient endoscopy center in Hialeah, Florida. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care during endoscopic procedures. Your responsibilities include preparing patients, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a sterile environment. Collaborating with the healthcare team, you will educate patients, document procedures, and ensure adherence to quality standards. Requirements
- Current Florida RN license (required)
- BLS and ACLS required
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience preferred, but new grads are welcome
- Recovery room experience a plus
- IV skills are a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist the physicians to provide direct patient care for colonoscopy & endoscopy procedures
- Completion of admission assessments
- Monitor patients receiving IV moderate sedation
- Oversee and participate in the preparation and flow of the procedure room
- Preparation for discharging patients
- Post-anesthesia care
