About The Position

We are a busy Gastroenterology office with 33 Providers, currently expanding our Practice by adding additional providers and several more procedure rooms. We are looking to bring on additional team members to help accommodate for the increased number of patients we will be seeing. This professional provides planned and highly skilled nursing care for the pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure patients. Through continuous patient surveillance, allows for early recognition of medical or procedural complications which may arise in any patient.

Requirements

RN license
Experience in Gastroenterology
Experience in pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure care
Ability to provide continuous patient surveillance for early recognition of complications
Skills in preparing procedure areas and maintaining a safe environment
Team-oriented with great customer service skills
Attention to detail
Passion for healthcare

Responsibilities

Assists physicians in providing planned and skilled nursing care in out-patient endoscopy setting.
Provides pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure care to patients.
Provides continuous patient surveillance to allow for early recognition of medical or procedural complications which may arise in any patient.
Prepares the area for patients.
Assures patient safety and maintains environment.
Assures continuity of care.
Performs other related duties.
