Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Endoscopy nurse you will assist physicians with procedural technical skills and interventions and any other assigned functions within the procedure as an extension of the physician and within scope of practice. Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes. To be successful in this role you must have the ability to maintain focus while multitasking, remain calm under pressure, and exercise good judgment in emergency situations.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse: AZ
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Knowledge of surgical procedures

Nice To Haves

  • Critical care (surgical) background helpful.
  • Two years Med-Surg experience
  • One year Endoscopy/GI Lab experience

Responsibilities

  • Care for patients before, during, and after procedures
  • Develop and implement nursing care plan for patients
  • Ensure operating rooms are prepped with all necessary equipment and supplies
  • Demonstrate a high level of compassion for patients
