About The Position

The Endoscopic Technician provides direct hands-on patient care under the supervision of an RN and provider. The technician assists the Gastroenterology physician and RN during diagnostic procedures and responds to emergency situations as directed and according to patient needs. The role helps maintain a safe environment for patients and staff by complying with regulatory agency requirements and ASC standards. It also involves building positive relationships with patients, customers, and coworkers; taking responsibility for quality assurance, infection control, and staff and self-development; supporting a learning environment; and demonstrating commitment to PacMed’s mission and values. Requirements

Upon hire: National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

Successful completion of PMC MA Module Training, verified by the trainer, supervisor, provider, and clinic supervisor, resulting in PMC MA Certification.
Successful completion of the SGNA (Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates) Associates program.
Two years of experience in a medical setting.

Responsibilities
