About The Position

This is a part-time opportunity for an Endodontist to join a well-established general dentistry private practice, working 2 days a week. The practice is staffed with 4 general dentists and sees an average of 75 new patients per month. The role involves providing high-quality endodontic care, diagnosing and treating dental pain, performing root canal therapy, and managing dental trauma cases. The schedule is flexible and compensation is competitive and based on experience.

Requirements

• DMD or DDS degree from an accredited dental school
• Completed an accredited endodontic residency program
• Current state dental license and malpractice insurance
• Strong clinical skills and experience in performing endodontic procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently and independently
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care

Responsibilities

• Perform endodontic procedures, including root canal therapy, apicoectomy, and retreatment
• Diagnose and treat dental pain and infections
• Interpret radiographs and other diagnostic tests to determine the best course of treatment
• Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Stay current with advancements in endodontic techniques and technology
• Adhere to all OSHA and HIPAA regulations
