About The Position

As an Endocrinologist at Riverside, you will provide expert, individualized medical care for adult patients in an outpatient setting, managing a wide range of endocrine disorders. You will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to improving lives through compassionate care and evidence-based treatment. In this role, you will: Manage diabetes mellitus, including Type 1, Type 2, and gestational diabetes Treat thyroid disorders such as hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and thyroid nodules Diagnose and manage adrenal and pituitary gland disorders Address osteoporosis and other metabolic bone diseases Evaluate and treat polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and other reproductive hormone imbalances Provide care for lipid disorders, obesity, and metabolic syndrome Collaborate with primary care and specialty providers to ensure comprehensive patient care Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, medication management, and long-term disease control

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Licensed Medical Doctor in the State of Virginia
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology (American Board of Internal Medicine)
  • Current DEA registration
