About The Position

Endocrinologist Patients with diabetes, thyroid disease, and complex hormone disorders need a physician who can turn ambiguous labs into a clear plan and a better life. In this role you will own longitudinal endocrine care—diagnosing precisely, adjusting therapy with evidence, and coordinating the specialists around each patient. Your judgment will reduce preventable complications, shorten time to control, and make specialty access feel reliable rather than scarce.

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O., board certification or active eligibility in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, and an unrestricted license (or eligibility) to practice.
  • Demonstrated independent management of diabetes technology, thyroid cancer surveillance, and adrenal or pituitary disorders—not observation only.
  • Habit of closing the loop: timely notes, result communication, and follow-up that other clinicians can act on.
  • Skill explaining risk, benefit, and alternatives so patients can choose and adhere.
  • Comfort collaborating across primary and specialty care without losing ownership of the endocrine plan.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, metabolic bone, and reproductive endocrine conditions so that treatment goals are documented and reviewed at every visit.
  • Bring the majority of eligible patients with uncontrolled diabetes or thyroid dysfunction to an agreed clinical target within a defined follow-up window.
  • Interpret labs, imaging, and dynamic testing yourself, and complete a written plan—including medication changes, monitoring, and next steps—before the patient leaves.
  • Cut avoidable delays by completing new-patient workups and closing result loops within practice standards, and by escalating urgent endocrine cases the same day.
  • Lead shared decision-making for insulin, technology, and hormone therapies so patients leave knowing what to do, what to watch, and when to return.
  • Partner with primary care, surgery, obstetrics, and nutrition to keep referrals appropriate, handoffs complete, and duplicate testing low.
  • Contribute to quality review—complication rates, guideline adherence, and patient experience—and help the team fix the gaps those reviews reveal.
