About The Position
The Division of Endocrinology is seeking two full-time associate endocrinologists: one for Brampton Civic Hospital and one for Etobicoke General Hospital. The successful candidates will join a collaborative team in delivering full-time inpatient and outpatient endocrinology care and have access to an excellent diabetes education centre with a full range of nuclear medicine resources. Remuneration is fee-for-service as set by the OHIP Schedule of Benefits and Fees.
Requirements
- Accredited medical degree (or equivalent)
- Certification and/or Fellowship in Endocrinology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC)
- License to practice and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proven track record of attendance, punctuality and accountability

Nice To Haves
- Expertise in clinical teaching or clinical research preferred for those interested in education or research
Responsibilities
- Participate as a member of the division in providing call coverage at one of the hospital sites
- Provide patient follow up in their community-based practice located in the central west catchment area
