The Department of Surgery at the University of Wisconsin is recruiting for an exceptional endocrine surgeon to join our dynamic Division of Endocrine Surgery. We are looking for candidates with a demonstrated track record of clinical excellence and academic contributions. The department provides a robust infrastructure of services to support faculty in their clinical and academic success. The selected finalist will have experience with Laparoscopic and/or Robotic Adrenalectomy. It is preferable that candidates have an interest in establishing an academic program related to Endocrine Surgery (clinical, basic science, or health services research) or Surgical Education. The selected finalist will have evidence of prior training and/or clinical experience with Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) of Thyroid Nodules. Candidates with an expressed interest in learning about the procedure will also be considered. Certification in Da Vinci Robotic Surgery is also preferred. Applicants for this position will be considered for the following titles: Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, Clinical Professor, Assistant Professor (CHS), Associate Professor (CHS), Professor (CHS), Visiting Associate Professor, or Visiting Professor. The title is determined by the experience and qualifications of the finalist. This position requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus work location. This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.
