About The Position
Uses the Nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Works collaboratively with all other disciplines on assigned unit. Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills are needed. Endoscopy unit - admissions, procedure, recovery for GI patients, ECT patients, and occasional bone marrow patients. Once monthly Saturday shift for Pain Clinic.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current registration in New York State as an RN, Diploma and Licensure required.
- BSN required
- Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
- BLS, ACLS & PALS certification required.
- ICU experience required.
Nice To Haves
- 3 - 4 years Endoscopy experience preferred.
- PACU experience preferred.
- SGNA certification preferred.
