About The Position

Performs all aspects of running the enclosure. This includes placement, box assembly, quality checks & finished box stacking.

Requirements

  • High school degree or GED (or equivalent experience) preferred
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
  • Prior experience in the corrugated manufacturing industry or food manufacturing industry highly preferred
  • Stable work history and good attendance record
  • Desire knowledge of food industry standards for production, safety, waste, and AIB/SQF housekeeping.
  • Solid technical aptitude skills.
  • Solid basic math skills.
  • Ability to follow written instructions.
  • Interface with computer and have the ability to enter data into various software platforms.
  • Demonstrated work performance to be self-directed and self-motivated.
  • Proven track record on safety and quality.
  • Professional attitude and good communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible when it comes to safety and must demonstrate knowledge of the lockout/tagout program.
  • Responsible for arriving and leaving workstations on time
  • Attend shift hand off meetings.
  • Must be able to efficiently perform enclosure set-ups: load enclosure magazines, adjust hole position, make width adjustment, etc.
  • Operate touch screen controls and monitor process. Must be able to accurately enter work orders and perform necessary functions with HRMS.
  • Reports necessary repairs to supervisor immediately
  • Must be able to safely operate a forklift to deal with finished product as needed.
  • Must be able to accomplish report and document quality assurance checks as instructed to include notifying supervisor of immediate issues.
  • Must be able to safely and efficiently perform scheduled operator preventative maintenance, general housekeeping duties and utility duties.
  • Must be able to fulfill requirements listed in “General Requirements of All Production Employees”. Heavy lifting over 50/lbs. must be done with assistance
  • Start the Boiler
  • Be able to operate shredder and baler to grind up scrap into bale form
  • Operate the Winder as needed to cover breaks, lunch, absences, and to free up the Winder operator to make machine adjustments
  • Other duties as assigned by the department supervisor
