About The Position

Comet is seeking a customer- and team-oriented End to End Technical Project Manager for its Plasma Control Technologies division at the San Jose site. Comet is a leading Swiss technology company focused on developing and producing innovative high-tech components and systems based on X-ray and radio-frequency technology. The Plasma Control Technologies division manufactures specialized components for precise control of plasma processes used in the production of memory chips or touch screens. Project Managers at Comet lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects, keeping the big picture in focus while addressing unique engineering challenges. They plan requirements with internal customers and manage projects throughout their entire lifecycle, from research and development to introduction and production launch.

Requirements

BS or MS degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
5+ years of Project Management experience handling inception to mass production customer-facing hardware, firmware, and/or software product development preferred.
Proficient in MS Project and Microsoft Office Tools

Nice To Haves

Mastery of the Atlassian platform (Jira and Confluence) highly desirable

Responsibilities

Develop and manage hardware development project schedules, budgets and resources with engineering teams and communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders.
Work closely with internal partners on product development schedules, dependencies and budgets.
Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies and facilitate conflict resolution.
Interface between customers, product engineering and NPI cross functional teams, setting and managing schedules, budgets and milestones.
Synthesize large amounts of data into a clear story and communicate to stakeholders and organizations at all levels.
