About The Position

Thomson Reuters is implementing large enterprise transformation programs to fundamentally transform their Lead to Support processes. This role is critical to enabling different commercial services to be onboarded through both digital channels and enterprise platforms. The company is a global leader in intelligent information, driving global markets and helping professionals make critical decisions. Employees work with industry experts on diverse projects to create next-generation solutions. In this role, the End to End Associate Solutions Architect will be a technical leader, researching and recommending technical standards and best practices, and working with technology teams for implementation. They will also be an efficient stakeholder manager, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to define roadmaps and resolve issues. The role requires a decision-maker with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, a team player who values diverse ideas and can work in a collaborative, cross-functional, and remote environment. The individual should be curious and innovative, continuously updating their knowledge of next-generation technology and development tools, and contribute to process development practices. An agile mindset with a sense of urgency is needed to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver solutions against strict timelines. Effective communication skills are essential for articulating complex technical issues, sharing ideas, participating in peer-reviews, and translating business requirements into actionable architectures.

Requirements

  • Wide variety of Solutions Architecture experience across multiple business contexts.
  • Consulting experience with a strong track record at a leading IT consultancy or large corporate.
  • Experience working with agile teams and methodologies and globally distributed teams.
  • Solid experience in key features and capabilities provided by market-leading CRM and Self Service platforms.
  • Experience in integration of CRM to Self Service platforms.
  • Experience in integration of CRM to ERP, Middleware and Web Content Management Systems.
  • Experience in application security best practices.
  • Solid track record of experience within Blue Chip clients.
  • Development/Systems background with experience across the full project lifecycle.
  • Experience in developing solution architectures.
  • Experience preparing and maintaining Business process, Data Model, system, sequence and process flow diagrams.
  • Experience in working with diverse teams, including multi-country and company teams.
  • Experience managing or directing work of others to contribute to a shared goal.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive mindset.
  • Organized and methodical approach.
  • Experience in defining target architecture designs and roadmaps.
  • Experience in data migration between systems.
  • Ability to analyze and support in addressing application performance issues.
  • Good understanding of AWS cloud services mainly AWS Lambda, API gateway, RDS PostgrSQL and S3.
  • Required degree level (BA/BSc/MSc/BEng/MEng) in a Technical/Business discipline.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in TOGAF or other architecture framework.
  • Certification in AWS or other Cloud vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Define and update solution roadmaps for involved architectures.
  • Provide architectural design for future and existing enterprise transformation programs, ensuring technology components align with the overall technology strategy.
  • Ensure architecture is communicated, understood, and adhered to.
  • Work as part of the Design Authority structure.
  • Collaborate with vendor partners.
  • Participate in the Solution Review board to ensure solutions are governed appropriately.
