About The Position

Thomson Reuters is seeking an End to End Associate Solutions Architect to play a critical role in shaping and delivering the transformational architecture strategy for multi-billion dollar multi-national enterprise transformation programs. This role is essential for enabling the onboarding of commercial services through both digital channels and enterprise platforms. As part of the global knowledge economy, you will work with industry leaders on diverse projects to create next-generation solutions that drive business forward and advance your career. This role requires a technical leader who researches and recommends technical standards, acts as an efficient stakeholder manager, makes data-driven decisions, and thrives in a collaborative, agile, and fast-paced environment. You will translate business requirements into actionable architectures and ensure adherence to architectural strategies and roadmaps.

Requirements

  • Wide variety of Solutions Architecture experience across multiple business contexts.
  • Consulting experience with a strong track record at a leading IT consultancy or large corporate.
  • Experience working with agile teams and methodologies and globally distributed teams.
  • Solid experience in key features and capabilities provided by market-leading CRM and Self Service platforms.
  • Solid experience in integration of CRM to Self Service platforms.
  • Solid experience in integration of CRM to ERP, Middleware and Web Content Management Systems.
  • Solid experience in application security best practices.
  • Solid track record of experience within Blue Chip clients.
  • Development/Systems background with experience across the full project lifecycle.
  • Experience in developing solution architectures.
  • Experience in preparing and maintaining Business process, Data Model, system, sequence and process flow diagrams.
  • Experience in working with diverse teams, including multi-country and company teams.
  • Experience managing or directing work of others to contribute to a shared goal.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive mindset.
  • Organized and methodical approach.
  • Good understanding of AWS cloud services mainly AWS Lambda, API gateway, RDS PostgrSQL and S3.
  • BA/BSc/MSc/BEng/MEng degree in a Technical/Business discipline.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in TOGAF or other architecture framework.
  • Certification in AWS or other Cloud vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Define and update solution roadmaps for involved architectures.
  • Develop architectural designs for future and existing enterprise transformation programs, ensuring alignment with the overall technology strategy.
  • Communicate, understand, and ensure adherence to architectural designs.
  • Participate in the Design Authority structure, work with vendor partners, and the Solution Review board to ensure appropriate governance of solutions.
  • Research and recommend technical standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate and engage with external and internal stakeholders (business teams, product owners, project management) to define roadmaps for products and processes.
  • Act as a point of contact for resolving stakeholder issues.
  • Make quick and effective data-driven decisions using problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Roll out strategies that align with company goals.
  • Work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, sharing information and valuing diverse ideas.
  • Partner with cross-functional and remote teams.
  • Continuously update knowledge of next-generation technology, development tools, and contribute to process development practices.
  • Deliver solutions against strict timelines in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Clearly articulate complex technical issues, share ideas, participate in peer-reviews, and exhibit strong listening skills.
  • Translate requirements into actionable architectures with business owners.
  • Develop solution architectures, prepare and maintain Business process, Data Model, system, sequence and process flow diagrams.
  • Analyze and support in addressing application performance issues.
  • Experience in defining target architecture designs and roadmaps.
  • Experience in data migration between systems.
