Responsible for providing quality neurodiagnostic testing care to patients under the direction of a physician. May engage in all departmental activities to provide safe and effective delivery of patient care utilizing parameters guided by the American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technology (ASET). Department activities include but are not limited to performing electroencephalogram (EEG); evoked potentials (EP); assisting physicians with nerve conduction studies (NCS); scheduling patients; limited electrocardiography (EKG); transcribing/typing, faxing, scanning, linking and filing reports.
