Job Summary: Serve as System Center Configuration Manager Administrator, responsible for performing all aspects of SCCM planning, setup, deployment and maintenance. Duties and Responsibilities: Incumbents of this position must be U.S. Citizens. - Extensive experience in the implementation, administration and configuration of Intune and SCCM Enterprise environments. - Experience with desktop deployment automation architecture, design/migration and troubleshooting. - Experience managing an OS image for large corporate environments. - Knowledgeable in desktop virtualization and thin client technologies. - Contribute to development and ongoing improvement of industry best practices and standards for deploying enterprise desktop technologies. - Knowledge of the Windows registry, interaction of drivers within the OS, and unattended/silent installs of Windows operating systems. - Deployment, installation and administration of Microsoft Office products. - Evaluate emerging technologies to ensure technical solutions are compatible with the company's business needs and strategic objectives. - Provide technical expertise, guidance and strategic recommendations to other IT groups. - Functional working and debugging knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems. - Investigate, analyze and resolve technical issues and actively pursue mechanisms for preventing, or automating the response to reoccurrences. - Relies on a working knowledge of standard (Windows) client platform administration, configuration, rights management and file access in order to perform the duties and responsibilities of the job. Utilizes gained knowledge and experience in the following areas: - MS security (Department of Defense specific requirements preferred). - Experience in building MSIs using automated tools. - Windows Automated Installation Kit (WAIK) tools. - GPOs for policy management and deployment. - Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP). - Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit (ACT) - Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) for security policy management and deployment. - Performs-other related duties as assigned. Certification must be valid (not expired) as defined by the policy of the certification issuer. Candidates without the required certification may be placed into this job but must obtain the required certification within 6 months of appointment; failure to obtain the proper certification requirement will result in termination of employment. This position is designated IT-2 (Non-critical Sensitive) in accordance with SECNAV M-5510.30 and will require a favorable Access National Agency Check and Inquiries (ANACI). (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Security Expert (GSE), Security Certified Network Architect (SCNA). Qualified candidates must be U.S. Citizens. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: 3 years experience in administrative, technical, or investigative work which demonstrated the ability and aptitudes required to perform technical and analytical work involving management information systems. SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: One year related academic study above the high school level may be substituted for 9 months of experience up to a maximum of a 4 year bachelor's degree in a business/information systems or computer science discipline for general experience. AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Minimum of four years experience in the following: >Application Installation, Upgrade, Troubleshooting, and Deployment >System user account administration >O/S Administration (Microsoft Windows) >Automated Application Deployment (Push and Pull) >Coordination/planning across multiple systems > Mobile Device Management (i.e. Android, iOS) >LAN System Administration and support (Microsoft Windows) >Application Patch Administration >Application Testing for Operating Systems Compatibility IAT2 jobs: SECNAV M-5239.2 DoN, Information Assurance (IA) Workforce Manual requires that all incumbents of this position possess, and maintain current, two types of certifications as follows: IA Certification: One of the following certifications: Security+, GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP); or any one of the following higher level certifications: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Security Expert (GSE), Security Certified Network Architect (SCNA).
