About The Position

Serve as System Center Configuration Manager Administrator, responsible for performing all aspects of SCCM planning, setup, deployment and maintenance. Incumbents of this position must be U.S. Citizens. This position is designated IT-2 (Non-critical Sensitive) in accordance with SECNAV M-5510.30 and will require a favorable Access National Agency Check and Inquiries (ANACI).

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in the implementation, administration and configuration of Intune and SCCM Enterprise environments.
  • Experience with desktop deployment automation architecture, design/migration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience managing an OS image for large corporate environments.
  • Knowledgeable in desktop virtualization and thin client technologies.
  • Knowledge of the Windows registry, interaction of drivers within the OS, and unattended/silent installs of Windows operating systems.
  • Deployment, installation and administration of Microsoft Office products.
  • Functional working and debugging knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems.
  • Relies on a working knowledge of standard (Windows) client administration, configuration, rights management and file access in order to perform the duties and responsibilities of the job.
  • 3 years experience in administrative, technical, or investigative work which demonstrated the ability and aptitudes required to perform technical and analytical work involving management information systems.
  • Minimum of four years experience in Application Installation, Upgrade, Troubleshooting, and Deployment.
  • Minimum of four years experience in System user account administration.
  • Minimum of four years experience in O/S Administration (Microsoft Windows).
  • Minimum of four years experience in Automated Application Deployment (Push and Pull).
  • Minimum of four years experience in Coordination/planning across multiple systems.
  • Minimum of four years experience in Mobile Device Management (i.e. Android, iOS).
  • Minimum of four years experience in LAN System Administration and support (Microsoft Windows).
  • Minimum of four years experience in Application Patch Administration.
  • Minimum of four years experience in Application Testing for Operating Systems Compatibility.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Possess and maintain current IA Certification: Security+, GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP); or any of the following higher level certifications: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Security Expert (GSE), Security Certified Network Architect (SCNA).
  • Possess and maintain current Technical Certification: Administering and Deploying System Center 2012 Configuration Manager, Exam 243 or related certification, or Windows 10 certification or any replacement certificate or exam that Microsoft may announce in the future to replace Windows 10 Exam MD-100.
  • Candidates without the required certification may be placed into this job but must obtain the required certification within 6 months of appointment.

  • NEXCOM preferred certification is Security+.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of SCCM planning, setup, deployment and maintenance.
  • Contribute to development and ongoing improvement of industry best practices and standards for deploying enterprise desktop technologies.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies to ensure technical solutions are compatible with the company's business needs and strategic objectives.
  • Provide technical expertise, guidance and strategic recommendations to other IT groups.
  • Investigate, analyze and resolve technical issues and actively pursue mechanisms for preventing, or automating the response to reoccurrences.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
