About The Position

The End of Line (EOL) Testing Technician is responsible for performing final functional, electrical, mechanical, and safety tests on completed buses prior to release. This role ensures all systems meet company quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. The technician identifies defects, documents findings, and works closely with production and quality teams to ensure vehicles are delivered defect-free.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Automotive, heavy-duty vehicle, or bus manufacturing
  • 2+ years of experience in Electrical, mechanical, or diagnostic testing (preferred)
  • Basic understanding of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems and powertrain components
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools, multimeters, and hand tools.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, and test procedures.
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain if required).

Responsibilities

  • Perform end-of-line functional testing on completed buses, including electrical systems, powertrain, HVAC systems, braking and air systems, steering and suspension, doors, wheelchair ramps/lifts, and accessibility equipment, and interior and exterior lighting.
  • Conduct road tests and stationary tests as required.
  • Verify compliance with engineering specifications, build sheets, and customer requirements.
  • Identify, document, and report defects or non-conformances using inspection reports or digital quality systems.
  • Work with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Re-test vehicles after repairs or adjustments are completed.
  • Ensure all safety checks are completed before vehicle release.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized testing area.
  • Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts related to quality, testing, and efficiency.
