About The Position

The End Line Technician will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the mechanical End Line equipment. This role is crucial for ensuring the overall production of machines and quality according to specification sheets. The technician will be responsible for performing basic repairs, checking the accuracy and quality of finished ends, and clearing jams that may occur during production. They will also need to interpret messages on control panels, assist with regular servicing and problem-solving, and support the maintenance team during line changeovers. Additionally, the technician will train or assist other employees on production-related duties and perform any reasonable duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of the shell press, liners and conversion press.
  • Good Mechanical aptitude is a must.
  • Basic knowledge of US measurement.
  • Ability to use calipers and micrometers.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Ability to organize own work.
  • Basic knowledge of computers.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety, fire-prevention, and environment protection regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a Manufacturing facility a plus.
  • Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the mechanical End Line equipment.
  • Ensure overall production of machines and quality according to specification sheets.
  • Perform basic repairs on End Line equipment.
  • Check accuracy and quality of finished ends.
  • Locate and clear basic jams that may occur on the machines during production.
  • Correctly read and interpret messages/statuses on the control panels.
  • Assist with regular servicing and problem solving regarding machinery.
  • Actively support the maintenance team during line changeover.
  • Train or assist other employees on the daily practices of production related duties, such as product changes, housekeeping and visual quality checks.
  • Perform any reasonable duties assigned by the management staff, corresponding with the role.
