About The Position
SRM Concrete is looking for a dependable End Dump Truck Driver to join their team. This role is for skilled drivers who enjoy being on the move and making a difference every day. As an End Dump Truck Driver, you’ll play a key role in transporting materials safely and efficiently to keep operations running smoothly. Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
- Ability to perform basic truck maintenance and safety checks.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing work demands.
- Willingness to complete SRM’s pre-employment screenings.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience operating end dump trucks or similar equipment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate an end dump truck to transport aggregate, sand, gravel, and other materials to and from job sites and plants.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure your truck is in safe, working condition.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Load and unload materials using proper procedures to prevent spills and damage.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with dispatch, plant staff, and customers.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and other required documentation.
- Assist with routine maintenance and cleaning of your truck to keep it in top shape.
- Adapt to changing schedules and routes as needed to meet customer and company needs.
- Provide excellent customer service on every delivery.
