  • Completed technical degree in a related field, verifiable.
  • 1 year of experience in water management and/or treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the supply of treated water for plant operation, verifying that it meets the specifications established by the Quality Management System.
  • Control the flow of water from wells and monitor quality parameters such as chlorine, nitrates, hardness, pH, alkalinity, and storage levels in cisterns and tanks.
  • Process treated water for production, performing quality analyses related to pH, chlorine, taste, odor, turbidity, aluminum, nitrates, and total dissolved solids.
  • Prepare and verify chemical solutions used in the flocculation and coagulation process for water treatment.
  • Execute purges of reactor tanks to control solid accumulation and ensure process efficiency.
  • Perform backwashing of multimedia filters and recover water used in these operations.
  • Check the operation of polishing filters and replace cartridges when necessary.
  • Report mechanical failures or problems with the water treatment system promptly.
  • Ensure the supply of softened water for washers, boilers, and compressors, verifying hardness elimination according to established standards.
  • Regenerate softener systems when operational parameters require it to maintain water quality.
  • Recover and reuse rinse water from softeners.
  • Distribute recovered water for initial rinses in washers, ensuring its efficient utilization.
  • Verify the neutralization of chemicals and analyze parameters such as alkalinity, pH, and chlorine to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Assist in the sanitation processes of the Quality Control area by operating boilers and generating steam for equipment sterilization.
  • Monitor the safety conditions and correct operation of boilers and their protection devices.
  • Control pollutant emissions and contribute to minimizing the environmental impact of operations.
  • Perform basic maintenance on boiler equipment to ensure continuous and efficient operation.
  • Comply with and implement the guidelines, standards, and requirements of the Quality and Food Safety Management System applicable to the process.
  • Promote continuous improvement, deviation prevention, and operational risk control.
  • Ensure compliance with the quality, food safety, environmental, and safety policies established by the organization.
  • Contribute to the care and preservation of the environment through compliance with good environmental practices and applicable legislation.
  • Execute industrial safety procedures and foster a safe and healthy work environment.
