The Emulsion Operator will be responsible for the safe, productive manufacturing processes within our Emulsion department. This includes following all written work instructions and operating procedures related to packaging and handling of explosive products, inspecting manufactured products for accuracy, recognizing hazards within the production area, operating equipment and ensuring it is running properly, troubleshooting and problem-solving with the Supervisor/Area Lead on any technical issues as needed, and operating and maintaining manufacturing vehicles when needed. The role also involves conducting inspections and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and auxiliary systems, performing DOT and pre-trip inspections, carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance, diagnosing drivability issues, completing work orders, logging labor hours, tracking parts usage, communicating inventory needs, executing welding and fabrication tasks, maintaining and repairing pumps and auxiliary systems, troubleshooting electrical and lighting systems, filling out required documentation, following Standard Operating Procedures, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Collaboration with team members and maintaining a positive attitude are also key aspects of the position.
