Part-Time EMT — Experienced Hire (Summer 2026)

Ute Pass Regional Health Service DistrictWoodland Park, CO
Onsite

About The Position

Ute Pass Regional Health Service District (UPRHSD) is hiring experienced part-time EMTs to support our team through the summer season. This is not an entry-level or training position. We are specifically looking for providers who already know how to do the job and can step in quickly with minimal ramp-up. If you are a working EMT with solid 911 transport experience and you want to pick up shifts in a mountain district that takes its work seriously, we want to hear from you. As an EMT at UPRHSD, you will respond to emergency and non-emergency calls as part of a two-person crew alongside one of our Paramedics. The onboarding process for this position is streamlined specifically for experienced providers. Instead of a traditional academy, you will complete three observation rides, one with each shift, and then pace through a task book on the job. The ideal candidate will come with a strong foundation already in place. We want to focus on teaching our operations, district familiarization, and our guidelines. This is a part-time / PRN position. We are looking to add up to 10 providers to our roster to fill summer shift gaps and vacation coverage. After the busy season ends, there is the possibility of continuous growth. Part-time employees who demonstrate strong performance and alignment with our culture are often the first considered for future full-time positions when they open.
