About The Position

Join the Six Flags St. Louis Public Safety team as an EMT and treat our guests and team members with excellent quality care. This role focuses on delivering both basic life support care in a dynamic environment while supporting our commitment to a total safety culture. This is a seasonal position.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid driver's license
Current Missouri EMT-B license
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers
Must be able to pass a written exam with a 75% or higher
Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills
Flexible scheduling including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to work in all conditions of weather, as well as high structures and confined spaces
Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude
Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others

Nice To Haves

Current PHTLS or ITLS preferred

Responsibilities

Provide safe, professional, and excellent quality care under the guidance of SSM medical protocols and Six Flags policies, safety standards, and standard operating procedures.
Recognize the need for additional assistance, such as ALS or ambulance transport.
Document all patient care via completion of patient care reports.
Inspection, inventory, and maintenance of medical equipment and First Aid Stations.
Respond to emergency situations as needed.
Vehicle operations, including driving and operating park vehicles in a safe manner.
Conduct safety inspections throughout the park as requested.
Perform any other duties as assigned by Six Flags Leadership.
All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole.
