About The Position
Emplify Health by Gundersen Tri-County is seeking a full-time (0.9FTE) EMT to join their organization in Whitehall, WI. This role involves responding to, treating, and transporting patients in emergency and non-emergency settings, functioning as a crew member of an ambulance in both 911 and interfacility transfer environments. The EMT will perform EMT-level clinical care under the guidelines of Gundersen Health System and Gundersen Tri-County Hospital and Clinics medical direction.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- ICS 100, 200 and 700 course certificates required within 60 days of hire
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license (DL)
- Valid certified emergency vehicle operator (CEVO or EVOC) within 12 months of hire.
- National Registry Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (NREMT)
- Wisconsin Emergency Medical Technician license
- Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
