EMT Transfer Center Coordinator Lead
About The Position
The EMT Transfer Center Coordinator Lead coordinates all aspects of the Jefferson Enterprise Transfer Center and telemedicine cases including facilitating physician-to-physician communication and logistics related to patient transfer. This includes scheduling and assigning transports, documenting transfer activity, facilitating communication for transfers, and completing ADT functions in Epic. The incumbent is also responsible for taking calls for Emergency Medical Services (EMS), triaging calls using Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) protocols, providing callers with pre-arrival instructions and dispatching appropriate EMS resources.
Requirements
- EMT certification
- Experience with Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) protocols
- Experience with Epic (ADT functions)
